Terms and Conditions

Bookings

We give places on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a provisional spot in a class, fill out the online booking form. We’ll then email you payment details for BACs to reserve your spot for the duration of the package bought. You can also pay by card in class, but your place will not be confirmed until payment is received. Once your spot is secured, we’ll send you a confirmation email.

We recommend using the booking form to check if there’s space in the class. But while you can come and pay by card in class, if the class is full, we won’t be able to accommodate you, and we’d hate to disappoint.

Waiting Lists

Each class can accommodate a set number of children. If the class is full, we’ll add you to a waiting list. We’ll email you about new class openings or when a spot becomes available. There’s no need for a deposit to join the waiting list.

Cancellation or Changes to Classes

If your regular teacher is unable to attend the class, such as due to illness, we’ll try to find a replacement teacher. If finding a replacement isn’t possible and the class needs to be rescheduled, we’ll add an extra class during half-term or at the end of the term. We’ll notify you of any changes or cancellations via text, WhatsApp, or email as soon as possible. If we can’t reschedule the class, you’ll get a refund for that class. If you can’t make the rescheduled class, let us know within 24 hours of the replacement class, and we’ll refund that week’s class fee.

In rare cases, events beyond our control, such as (but not limited to) severe weather, floods, venue issues, pandemics, public health mandates, or Acts of God, might force us to cancel classes to ensure safety for children, parents, and teachers. In such situations, we’ll try to arrange a ‘catch-up’ class during half term or at the end of term at no extra cost. However, if this isn’t possible, we won’t be able to offer refunds due to the exceptional circumstances.

Missed Classes

If you miss a class for any reason, we may be able to offer a make-up class on a different day or at another location within the same term. Please note, make-up classes are not guaranteed, and are at our discretion, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you if space is available.

When you book and pay for a class, we reserve a spot for you and your baby, regardless of attendance. We don’t offer refunds for missed classes because of this.

If you can no longer attend any of your regular class, please talk to us. It might be possible to join a different class if there’s space, but this isn’t guaranteed and depends on availability.

Courses can’t be transferred to another child. Only the child named can attend the classes you’ve booked (a different supervising adult is fine)

Can I Carry over Missed Classes to the Next Term?

No. If you miss a class, we may offer a make-up class on an alternative day or at a different location within the same term. However, classes cannot be carried over to a new term. Please be aware that make-up classes are subject to availability and granted at our discretion; they are not guaranteed, but we strive to accommodate where possible.

Although each weeks session covers a different topic, there is significant repetition from week to week. Therefore, even if you miss a class or a make-up opportunity, you will have ample chance to catch up.

Refunds

If you find yourself unable to attend the class you’ve enrolled and paid for, please contact us to discuss available options. Should you wish to apply for a refund and are unable to attend an alternative class, the following refund policy applies:

Refund Requests Made More Than Two Weeks Before Term Start or date of class:

  • Full refund

Refund Requests Made Less Than Two Weeks Before (term or class) or During Term:

  • Single class: No refund
  • Introductory Trial offer: No refund
  • Term Package: 50% refund for the remaining classes, provided there are more than three weeks left in the term

Bringing extra people to class

A Friend and Their Baby to Try Class

We warmly welcome newcomers to our classes but recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, as we’d hate to see you miss out due to full capacity.

Reservations are confirmed upon completion of a booking form and receipt of payment. While on-the-day card payments are accepted, please note that spots are not guaranteed until payment is received. We offer Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) and trial options for those interested in joining us via the website.

Other Family Members

We encourage additional family members to join our classes, as we believe the more people signing, the better. However, we kindly ask that you consider the number of individuals you bring to each session. Rather than bringing a large group at once, we suggest rotating attendees each week to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Older Siblings

On special occasions, older siblings are welcome to join us. With advance notice, we will make efforts to engage them in the class. Please be aware that you are responsible for the behavior and safety of both children, particularly in regard to younger infants.

If you are a childminder bringing multiple children that are not siblings, each individual will need to be registered, and paid for separately. However, a one time visit could be complimentary at the discretion of the teacher.

Health And Safety

Illness

If you believe that either you or your baby may be unwell with a contagious condition, please refrain from attending class, even if symptoms appear mild. If you or your child have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea, we kindly ask that you wait 48 hours after the last episode before returning to class. While we cannot provide refunds for missed sessions, we may offer the opportunity for a catch-up class, subject to availability. Your cooperation in maintaining a healthy environment for all participants is greatly appreciated.

Food and Feeding

We support breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and drinking in our classes.

Please do not bring snacks into the class, including both adult and child snacks. Snacks can be distracting, messy, and pose a risk if a baby picks up food they are allergic to that another baby has dropped.

For the safety of all participants, nuts and nut products are not allowed inside the classroom at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hygiene

There are Baby Changing facilities available at our locations. Please use the bins provided in these areas for dirty nappies and not the general bins around the venue. Speak to the teacher if you are unable to find an appropriate bin.

Safeguarding

In our baby and toddler classes, parents or guardians are required to remain with their child at all times. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants. If you notice any concerns regarding the welfare of a child, please bring it to our immediate attention. We maintain a secure and supportive environment and appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards for the protection of everyone involved.

Class Etiquette

Child

Our classes aim to be enjoyable and engaging for babies, encouraging them to walk, crawl, explore and interact freely, they do not need to sit still or be quiet. We understand that babies and toddlers may sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours like hitting, biting, or throwing toys as they learn and explore. We trust parents to manage and address these behaviors promptly to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. If disruptive behavior persists, please step out with your child briefly to help them calm down.

While we empathise with the challenges of parenting, and understand how overwhelming it can be, we are all parents and will have been through similar experiences. In rare cases of ongoing disruption, we may ask you to leave or recommend a more suitable class. Refunds for remaining classes will be considered at the teacher’s discretion.

Our classes accommodate a range of ages, and occasionally, we may suggest a more age-specific class for your child’s to ensure safety and enjoyment. Our priority is always the well-being of every child attending our classes.

Adult

We encourage active participation in singing, signing, and actions to enhance the class experience for everyone. Engaging in these activities makes our classes more enjoyable for all participants.

Please refrain from chatting or causing distractions during the lesson to maintain a focused and fun learning environment.

Please ensure phones are silent or off and out of sight.

Any form of aggression or disrespect towards our teachers will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask any individual displaying aggressive, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour to leave the class. In such cases, refunds will not be provided.
